Trabalho de Concentração
PARIS
Photographer Andrea Buccella
Fashion as a story of life before than a product to sale: Asia Argento plays Ludovica Amati.
The dress becomes the creative suggestions for an artistic performance Trabalho de Concentração that
speaks about healing, about the work needed to heal.
The final act of a process that has always presented the collections of Ludovica Amati in artistic way looking for the right formulas to transfer
the spirituality of his creations.
Asia Argento is the priestess assisted by a vestal, the actress Emma de Caunes; she celebrates a mystical ritual that draws on the transcendental
knowledge to “reanimate” women who live in a domestic but religious site,as the deconsecrated church of Avenue Ledru Rollin.
The sound of Vicarius Bliss and the lights of Antoine Parouty create the fantastic habitat of an event that wants to get to our unconscious, to make us think,
and at the end to give us a message of a possible healing from a life made only of outward appearance and consequent sadness: so fashion becomes an
excuse to say something else, as Alexander McQueen did.
The collection A/W 2015/16 presents the contemporary wardrobe of an unique woman, with a style that born from his cultured life
but transgressive because unconventional.
A mother but also a traveler, elegant and refined because her outfits bring messages of places lived without differences of time and space as her that has
no age, she is just beautiful and a messenger of beauty, poetry and peace.
The sensuality of the materials, silks and leather, the jersey silk or the wool to build perfectly serious clothes with embroidery that refer to the transparency
of the garden’s windows in winter.
The jersey silk printed with the design shipibo reinvents the underwear, the shirt tattooed as the skin: the graphic translation of a message left for healers
women who seems the weave of a microchip.
The same drawing on the leather and on the cadì silk which overlaps the tulle silk creating a play of transparencies thatreveal sacred drawings
as decoration printed and embroidered on the shawl and on the bomber.
The collection closures of the garments and the bags are made in collaboration with Shootingbag1981 by Alessandro Di Cola, which complete the sophisticated and
experimental look with a contemporary decorativism.
A Made in Italy of fine craftsmanship, in the construction of the garments and the choice of Italian fabrics: a collection
that breaks the rules of trend and proposes the story of the journey to heal from the non-sense, as
the only message to wear.
