MIA LE JOURNAL
2023-24 // QUINTESSENCE ISSUE XVII
Welcome to the seventeenth issue of Mia Le Journal, dedicated to the exploration of the “Quintessence” as an alchemical path to reactivate and enhance the fluidity of thought and action. In this issue, we want to offer artists a unique opportunity to discover and unleash their inner resources, allowing them to fully express themselves in the here and now, without being hindered by external repercussions.
The “Quintessence”, wich is considered the biological memory, has always been regarded as the constitutive element of the Soul of the World. According to the philosophy of Plotinus, it represented the hypostasis responsible for the generation of life itself. In Rosicrucian esotericism and Blavatsky’s Theosophy, the Aether has been identified with the Eastern concepts of Akasha at the cosmic level and Prana at the individual vital level. This fifth element holds immeasurable value and can be also found in the symbolism of the pentagram, where the uppermost vertex represents Spirit.
The Aether encompasses the transformation and evolution of the preceding four elements, blending within it a profound magical, spiritual, and symbolic meaning of Creation. It is intangible but permeates everything, considered as the perfect result of the balanced becoming of the elements Earth, Air, Water, and Fire. As Aristotle affirmed, the Aether possesses qualities of eternity, immutability, transparency, and lightness.
In this issue of Mia Le Journal, we want artists to interpret the “Quintessence” as an alchemical path designed to reactivate and enhance the fluidity of thought and action. We encourage them to fully dedicate themselves to what they love to do, experiencing their creative abilities in the here and now without being affected by external repercussions. It is time to free oneself from years of automatic behaviors generated by all sorts of conditioning and discover the submerged resources that each of us possesses, including our unique Genius.
Mia Le Journal addresses all artists who are truly interested in discovering their inner resources. We aim to provide an opportunity to make the special talents that each and everyone of us possesses accessible to all.
It is time to embrace one’s inner Genius and explore limitless creative frontiers.
