The Boy from Brooklyn

Sante D’Orazio

“It’s hard to be objective about seeing yourself on screen or in stills. It was easier to be objective seeing my work flash on and off the screen. The movement from one image to another gave me a greater sense of the photography and prevented me from dwelling on my work. By not thinking and only responding I was given the means to be objective thru the use of my sensory perception. That also sums up the way I work, not thinking, just responding.”
